Our founder began working with ocean research non-profits to try and make a dent. This simply revealed more issues that needed attention and as a master problem solver, he knew he was ready for the challenge. The biggest challenge is knowing which non-profits are actually doing something positive and effecting real change. The next challenge was understanding the amount of resources required to effectively engage in the fight. The last challenge was finding volunteer support, long-term help and support from the next generation. 

After donating time in this space, he quickly realized there are groups that are passionate about making change and others that are passionate about making a “name”.  So he set out to find organizations that are trustworthy and doing exactly what they preach.
