This mission, in partnership with The Ocean Lab, focused on developing live-stream capabilities for an underwater classroom experience. The goal was to enable students in California to engage in real-time learning about the fragile tropical reef ecosystems of the Florida Keys.

Our team explored multiple reef sites off the coast of Key Largo, testing and recording GPS coordinates where signal strength was optimal for live broadcasting. Divers assessed each reef for ecological relevance, identifying key areas and topics that would be most impactful for student engagement.

These efforts paved the way for live, underwater classroom sessions, where scientists will dive while broadcasting to students, showcasing reef conditions and highlighting environmental concerns. This interactive experience allows young learners to witness marine science in action and fosters a deeper understanding of ocean conservation.
